Snauwaert Hi-Ten 30
(documented or estimated)
The Belgian racket company Snauwaert & Depla was founded in 1929. Two Belgian skilled woodworkers gave thair names. Valerie Snauwaert and his brother-in-law Eugène Depla. Snauwaert was the inspiration for the development of many special features in tennis racket production. Distinctive feature of the Hi-Ten series: 2 mm thick strings!! The reduced number of strings allowed players improved topspin. The racquet itself, specifically the stringing, was designed and played by Phillips More, a former Australian Davis Cup player.
